Maintenance & Management

We give your garden the love it needs: tidy where it needs to be, messy where it needs to be, seasonally aligned and detailed. Pruning, weeding, amending, transplanting, dividing — we maintain it while balancing the needs of nature with modern aesthetics.

Designing & Installing

We renovate existing gardens and design and install new ones. With native, edible plants and eco-friendly landscapes, we take your garden from mess to miracle. Water is vital to any ecosystem, so we strive to bring a water element into every garden.

Our mission

Beauty & Diversity

We aim to bring more beauty and diversity to people, wildlife, and the planet through gardening, design and installation, and education.

By fostering dwindling insect and bird populations, finding a balance between order and chaos, and using regenerative and restorative techniques, we're saving the planet one garden at a time.

About us

We love working with anyone and everyone.

For over 10 years, Almost Wild's founder has worked as a gardener, developer and educator. A Red Seal Landscape Horticulturist and long-time teacher at Pacific Horticulture College, Adam is passionate about improving the environment through education and ecological horticulture.

Everyone at Almost Wild is a PHC graduate and passionate horticulturist. We constantly evaluate our practices, looking for ways to do better for the client and the planet — combining beauty and diversity with maintenance that fits your needs and contributes to an edible, diverse landscape.

We also believe in “teaching people to garden for a lifetime.” Through online and in-person workshops for schools, companies, organizations and individuals, we share the tools to create and sustain a diverse, seasonally appropriate garden — and food sources for humans and critters for generations to come.
